We attended the HCI Employee Engagement Conference this year to run a conference step challenge and had a great time in Denver, Colorado.

We enjoyed running the charity step challenge where attendees created social impact simply by walking in support of their favorite charities!

Leaders are continually looking for ways to transform how they make a difference in the world and what better a place than at the HCI Employee Engagement conference.  MaximusLife’s Social Impact Platform sought out to empower all attendees with the ability to change the world for good at the conference and on their trip home.

The first place winner, Chrissy with 105k steps, asked for her $1,000 sponsor donation prize to be sent to Gardeneers, a charity based in Chicago. Gardeneers is the only Chicago-based nonprofit providing full-service, customized school garden programs with on-going support. When schools lack the time and resources to sustain garden programs, they ensure their success.

Gardeneers can be found at:

The second place winner, Harry, asked for the $500 donation to be sent to the SECU MD Foundation, whose mission is to contribute to and support the continuous learning and educational needs of those they serve. One hundred percent of all dollars donated by members or businesses will be distributed in the form of scholarships or other activities that support the Foundation’s mission. The SECU MD Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

The SECU MD Foundation information can be found at:

Other daily winnings at the conference involved Amazon giftcards and MaximusLife T-Shirts.

Thank you to all who were involved and attended we had a blast!
