Organizing Your Company Purpose to Keep You Connected (Virtually)

There will be no virtual marathons, summits, conferences, for the foreseeable future with COVID taking over life as we know it.

With the trajectory of the virus spreading, there will be no marathons, music festivals, or mass gatherings until 2021, but there are ways around this with our modern tools. We are dedicated to connecting communities and people – even if companies cannot gather.

According to the CDC:

  • The higher the level of community transmission in the area that the gathering is being held, the higher the risk of COVID-19 spreading during a gathering.
  • The size of an event or gathering should be determined based on state, local, territorial or tribal safety laws and regulations.

With this in mind, large gathering will again be put off for at least a year. At MaximusLife, our team has developed some modern tools that can bring community together.

BUILD PURPOSE

A survey of global corporate executives showed that more than 80% believe shared purpose leads to greater employee satisfaction, customer loyalty, and higher-quality products and services.

And if you are like us, we believe that companies should have a purpose beyond profits.

One way to begin building “purpose” within your company, with all that is happening in the world, is to connect your employees while many are working from home. Your team’s mental wellbeing and health are pivotal.

We have built out a mobile and web platform for your company to connect. A step challenge is one simple way to start because employees can get out and stay active while tracking it all with our tools.

We provide the web platform where individuals can check in their steps, even with just their phone trackers! You can then put some healthy competition amongst teams and provide prizes. What makes us different is adding a charity element to each employee step.

This will define the purpose within your company and tie it into your CSR mission.

According to Medium, “When the goals and mission are clearly outlined for everyone, collectively the organization is able to find the joy of striving to find potential in their colleagues, themselves, and our clients.”

We encourage you to look at your own work and company to identify where you can do things differently, finding new ways to drive shared value. Let us help you!
